The Teahouse of the august moon
I love movies filmed in Japan, what ever the period. And this one must to be known because it is very funny. You 're immersed in Okinawa islands in the 50', and the best part is to see Marlon Brando as a Japanese!
The story: in Japan, on Okinawa island, just after the second world war, Captain Fisby is there to represent the army. His superior colonel Wainwright Purdy III, send him Sakini (MLarlon Brando) as an interprete. Sakini is one of the residents of the island. With him and a young geiko tried to live as a Japanese and build a tea house.
