Matcha roll cake

Matcha roll cake

This morning I watched on TV the Mimi Thorisson show. She is a nice woman who create the blog "manger" with a lot of receipes from all over the world, and this morning it was just a japanese cake. I didn't have time to try it yet but I'll give you the receipe and promise to try it soon and let you know.

You need:

  • 30 g butter
  •  5 yellow eggs
  •  4 white eggs
  •  120 g icing sugar
  •  10 g matcha
  •  50 g flour
  • and for the cream
  •  400 ml liquid cream
  •  150 g icing sugar
  •  75 ml azuki

Mix 3/4 of the icing sugar with the yellow eggs in "bain marie" and the matcha. Make the white eggs + icing sugar with a whisk. Then add the 2 preparations and the flour. Put in the oven (350°) for 10 minutes.

Mix the cream as a chantilly, with the sugar. Spread this cream on the cake, add the azuki and roll it to make a nice roll cake.

But in the fridge 30 minutes before eating.
